Renaissance High School for the Arts Addition & Modernization

Currently under construction, the newly renovated Renaissance High School for the Arts (RHSA) will offer the residents of Long Beach a rich mixture of civic heritage and future promise. The revitalized RHSA campus includes new 2-story Performing Arts and Student Services Building that will house 4,000 squre foot, 250-seat black box theater with prop room, a library, two dance studios and a 2,800 square foot library.
The new one story Locker Room / Fitness building will replace existing portable buildings currently housing the Boys and Girls locker rooms This building also contains a 1,260 square foot instructional / weight room space.
Other campus improvements include classroom modernization, technology and utility upgrades and the addition of an outdoor Performance Courtyard. New landscaping and decorative metal fencing at the school perimeter will contribute to improving the campus street presence while aiding in campus safety and security.
