As part of a joint-use agreement between the City and the School District, GBA was asked to renovate the campus to maintain the primary functions of the middle school while incorporating new programs and facilities for the surrounding community.

We removed 14 portable units, added new parking with sufficient landscaping and additional security fencing along the perimeter to separate daily school functions from the common recreational facilities. The community areas include a new composite surface track, a soccer field, “tot” lots, a restroom building, day care facilities, basketball and tennis courts, and a shady mini-park with a formal street corner monument.
